Building Brand Awareness Across Social and Earned Media at an Unconventional Emmy’s 

The 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards marked one of the first major returns to the red carpet since the beginning of the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic. This year’s event offered a unique “phy-gital” experience with a mixture of talent turning up to the physical event and others participating from their homes providing and an opportunity for wide scale brand awareness both digitally and in earned media worldwide.

Millions of Impressions Secured Across Instagram and in the Press

ITB secured dressing placements on behalf of client Azzi & Osta on the likes of Presenter and Guest Actress Nominee Laverne Cox, Best Supporting Actress Nominee Yvonne Orji and E! News Host Erin Lim. Other placements were secured for our client Chopard including Best Actress Nominee Kerry Washington and Best Supporting Actress Nominee Samira Wiley. In all cases, talent controlled the release of their own imagery on their social media channels, creating an opportunity for their audiences to engage directly with the content. The resulting photo assets were also pitched to press, garnering more than 175M impressions globally in the course of 24 hours.
