Helping Graduates Celebrate their Success
With graduations all over the world cancelled, postponed or moved to virtual, Verizon wanted to help graduates still celebrate their accomplishments by rallying a group of inspiring and diverse speakers for virtual commencement addresses.
Securing Inspirational, Diverse and Relevant Talent
Leveraging our knowledge of pop culture and the public speaking space as well as our strong industry relationships, we were able to secure relevant, buzzworthy and diverse talent to give commencement speeches that were beyond the traditional, stale keynote. MLB All-Star and World Series champion Alex Rodriguez, SNL’sMelissa Villasenor and RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen gave inspiring, humorous and intimate addresses to the graduating class of 2021. We were also able to contract the speakers for further amplification through their respective social channels, reaching an additional 2M+ followers.
