'The Venture' social entrepreneurship initiative featuring Will.I.Am, James Corden, Richard Ayoade, Halle Berry and more
The Chivas Venture (est. 2014) culminates in a live event where five finalists pitch ideas for a chance to vie for up to $1 million, which Chivas allocates to small, innovative businesses. ITB was hired to help Chivas reach its awareness and influence goals by procuring a celebrity host and judges who possess values and beliefs aligned with the Venture in order to attract the widest possible consumer audience.
ITB secured high-profile celebrities with global resonance, a passion for social entrepreneurship and credentials to support it, including Adrian Grenier, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry and will.i.am.
In addition ITB has secured a host for the annual events, including James Corden, Trevor Noah, Josh Gad and Richard Ayoade. Hosts were culturally relevant and able to engage large crowds of influencers who introduced Chivas to new audiences and generated extensive PR opportunities.
Now in its fourth year, the Chivas Venture has received over 8,000 applications to date. Since the competition began in 2014, Chivas-supported startups have cut over 60 million tonnes of CO2, recycled 13,000 tonnes of waste and saved over 8 million trees and 1 million honeybee colonies. 75,000 days of education have been funded for women and girls, 24 million litres of clean drinking water have been provided, and 23,000 households now have safe energy.
