Olympia Le Tan began her fashion career interning at the Chanel design studio before working at luxury fashion house Balmain. In 2009, she launched her eponymous label, combining her two obsessions, embroidery (a talent she inherited from her grandmother), and literature (a passion she shares with her father, renowned illustrator Pierre Le-Tan) to create one of a kind handbags and minaudières, limited editions, hand-made with love in France. In 2012 the brand expanded into ready to wear. The successful range of accessories and ready-to-wear is distributed at over 150 stores worldwide including globally renowned department store Bergdorf Goodman and e-commerce sites including Matches Fashion, Net-A-Porter and Farfetch. Spring 2015 saw Olympia open her first stand alone boutique in Paris’ first arrondissement with interiors designed by her father. The iconic book clutches have attracted a cult celebrity fan base of actresses, musicians, models and influencers including Léa Seydoux, Clémence Poésy, Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman, Jessica Hart, Miranda Kerr, Chiara Ferragni and Leandra Medine. The distinctive style of Olympia Le Tan has attracted numerous art, fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands for collaborative projects including Uniqlo, Diptyque, Lancôme, Pierre Marcolini, Damien Hirst and APC. Autumn 2016 saw the publication of Olympia’s first book ‘Olympia Le Tan: The Story of O.L.T’ with esteemed New York publishers Rizzoli.
