Chrissy Teigen and John Legend teamed up with McDonald’s Ronald McDonald House Charities to help spread the word about an important challenge because they recognize how crucial it is for families to be able to stay together during difficult times. The couple supported this new social fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities for which McDonald’s will give $100 in your name for every post on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, or Facebook that includes an RMHC heart and the hashtag #HereForRMHC. Despite every challenge 2020 has thrown at us, Ronald McDonald House Charities continues to ensure families can be there for each other when a sick or injured child is receiving care away from home. The campaign is running until December 31st for the chance to participate in a donation that is part of McDonald’s larger $100 million commitment.
John Legend shared his thoughts about the work saying “Despite what’s happening with the pandemic, year-round, every year, there are always going to be families that need the help of a charity like the Ronald McDonald House to keep them close to their loved ones as they’re going through serious illness. We who have resources and the ability to help should find ways to do so, and we’re happy to be part of it.”
