To continue our 10 year anniversary celebrations, we hosted an intimate panel talk on the beautiful terrace of New York’s Gramercy Park Hotel. The event began with a discussion between nonagenarian style icon Iris Apfel and ITB’s Group Head of Strategy, Antonia Thompson Weisman. The two were then joined on stage by writer, model rapper, singer and diversity advocate TK Wonder, social activist, writer, style icon and model Cipriana Quann, and Revlon’s SVP of Integrated Marketing Communications, Charlotte Adjchavanich.
The lively discussion covered the current state of diversity & representation in the fashion and beauty industries, the power of influence to make change, the role of social media in giving everyone a voice, embracing your natural beauty and authentic self, successful marketing campaigns celebrating diversity and our hopes for the future and shaping a different mindset for the next generation.
