On Thursday 25th June, we hosted our fourth instalment of ITB in Conversation (On the Couch!) that discussed the topic of ‘Moving Forward With Purpose: The Role of Talent + Brands In Driving Change in Cultural Conversations’. We were joined by Kahlana Barfield Brown (Fashion and Beauty Editor and Consultant), Cipriana Quann (Activist and Writer) and Kenny Ethan Jones (Activist and Model) to explore key topics including the power of activists in mobilising digital communities around a cause, the role of brands in driving authentic change in the cultural conversation, the significance of influencers in the spread of key messaging and the importance of creating and casting diverse and values-driven content. Our panel had an insightful and timely conversation with moderator Stephen Macias (EVP of Diversity and Inclusion Consumer Strategies at sister agency R&CPMK), sharing personal stories of their experiences and hopes for the future.
