Bio

Patternity was launched in 2009 by ‘cult pattern pioneers’ photographer / art director Anna Murray and surface / product designer Grace Winteringham. United by their love of pattern, Patternity was born from a drive to share the positive power of pattern with the world.

Patternity’s graphic monochrome patterns, underpinned by uplifting and educational concepts and statements, have become symbols of the brand ethos and aesthetic. Their engaging storytelling process highlights the accessible yet wide reaching Patternity core philosophy - encouraging everyone to find more wonder and curiosity in everyday life. 

Patternity have been commissioned by the likes of the V&A, the London Design Festival, the Design Museum and the BBC. Collaboration partners include Nike, Apple, Clarks, Unilever and Fortnum & Mason.
