The Brief

ITB was approached by H&M to cast and secure an inspiring, diverse and culturally relevant selection of talent to star in H&M’s Holiday 2018 Campaign. As part of through the line campaign shot by Cass Bird and directed by Matt Piedmont, ITB and award winning agency adam&eveDDB were tasked to cast nine individuals – both established and upcoming - to embody the Holiday spirit through a comedic and stylish interpretation.

 

 
 
 
 

The Campaign 

The episodic campaign shows off the Swedish ready-to-wear brand's holiday collection and sees a star cast revel in the joys of the season at the fictional Hotel Mauritz. Talent secured included American actress and star of “Parks and Recreation” Aubrey Plaza, renowned musician Moses Sumney, comedic influencer Chloe Fineman, Advanced Style Ladies and fashion veterans Tziporah Salamon, Sarah Jane Adams and Debra Rapoport. The campaign also featured the beautiful plus size model Sonny Turner and influencer and model Eric Rutherford, as well as the rising star Abraham Lewis. The campaign was rolled over six weeks across digital video, print, in-store and social media.
