Photographer, Blogger & Model
Born in Oslo, Norway, Hanneli was scouted in the street by a photographer for the iconic Norwegian fashion and culture magazine ‘Fjords’, whilst still at school. It was a move to Paris that furthered her modelling career and, after 2 years there, she moved to New York in 2004. Hanneli began to take an interest in styling and made a decision in 2008 to step back from modelling to pursue a career as a stylist, resulting in regularly styling for various music artists at Sony Music over the next year. At this same time Hanneli began documenting various looks with her own camera, gradually developing her unique street style photography.
As a stylist, she was asked to contribute for a Norwegian fashion magazine blog where she soon realised the impact her posts had, not only in Norway, but on an international level.
In 2009, Hanneli set up her own blog, hanneli.com, where she continues to post a mix of her own beautiful street style photographs and self portraits.
In 2010 Hanneli became a Contributing Photographer to Vogue and Vogue.com, for whom she still collaborates today. Most recently she took a role as host for Vogue TV’s new series ‘Beauty Mark’.
Hanneli was brought on board by Calvin Klein to help boost their social media during A/W 2012 Fashion Week, which led her to Curator for social media and Brand Ambassador for five consecutive seasons. Hanneli continues to work for the world’s leading brands in her capacity as model, ambassador, photographer, consultant, art director and blogger; counting brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Diesel Black Gold, Max & Co, Frame Denim, UGG and Zara among them.
