The Brief

After Belstaff’s acquisition by Swiss luxury conglomerate Labelux and consequent market repositioning, the brand approached ITB again to build on the successful partnership with Ewan McGregor. ITB was to cast and secure a name that would resonate globally, an authoritative voice in fashion for collaborative purposes and somebody who would be able to identify with the core values of the brand: motoring and British heritage. 

 
 
 
 

Casting, Negotiating and Securing

ITB cast and delivered David Beckham in response to Belstaff's very specific brief. Our expert knowledge and careful consultation allowed us to successfully navigate the brand’s criteria in order to deliver a high profile talent and ultimately create a meaningful and relevant endorsement.

Partnership Management

ITB were responsible for handling every aspect of the process behind the partnership; including research, casting, approach, execution and negotiation of the contract. Management of all contractual obligations such as design commitments, press and marketing activities, events and campaign shoots were also handled by ITB. This complete approach allowed us to deliver a seamless service to Belstaff.

 
 
 
 

Product Extension

As well as acting as the face of the Belstaff brand for two seasons, ITB arranged for Beckham to design a capsule collection of leather jackets to be sold and distributed globally, garnering international press and maximising impact from the partnership.
