The Brief

ITB worked with Venables Bell & Partners in San Francisco to cast a unique group of characters for the new Audi A3 launch campaign. We were given an open brief summed up in one word: “Uncompromising” - those who go through life with passion and determination without too much regard for what people or critics may say.

The client’s desire for people from all artistic and life disciplines enabled ITB to be truly creative with the casting and the engagement of a wide variety of Talent.

 
 
 
 

The Casting

Fresh from his Golden Globes hosting, Ricky Gervais had polarised opinion with his humour but had remained firm in how he as a comedian wanted to deliver his work. 

Kristen Schaal, the brilliant comic actor wanted to poke fun at all the crazy roles she takes on.

Cyrcle, the dynamic graffiti duo who create inspiring pieces of art using unique techniques remain uncompromising in their work, despite debate around what constitutes ‘art’ and whether graffiti is included.

Lynsey Addario, the award winning photo journalist, reminds us every day of how precarious parts of our world really are, with her determination to capture poignant images in war torn and often life endangering situations.

The Campaign
